Free GPS Software Demo for Palm OS devices

There will be free demo copies of GPS software for Palm OS available at the IT Show, at Booth 8516, from a company called DConnex Pte Ltd.

The free copies will be available whilst stocks last. I am told their service is quite good, so do pay them a visit at their IT Show booth with your questions and/or comments.

NOTE:
This software is in CHINESE language and the necessary chinese decoding software is available in the CD. This is DEMO set, GPS routing is still not possible, but running simlulations (similar to Kingmap2) is possible.

I am informed by Dconnex that some of their customers are having problems with the installation of this software demo. Please follow the instructions below.

*** Showmap SINGAPORE MAP Demo FOR PALM ***

Please Note:

1.) Demo is in Chinese (Final Testing Stage)
2.) MUST first install Chinese decoder software on Palm (cjkos_OS5)
3.) Then install Showmap Interface
Clie UX, TH TJ Series --> Unzip ShowMap NAvi(1.2.5) for SONY UX TH TJ Series
Clie NX, NV TG Series --> Unzip ShowMap NAvi(1.2.5) for SONY NX NV TG Series
PALM Tungsten Series --> Unzip ShowMap NAvi(1.6.0)
4.) Unzip Singapour.rar and copy its contents in to your Handheld.
Singapour.rar contains the following 2 items;
Singapour (directory)
Singapour.gst

Note for Copying:
To be able to use the Map, MAKE SURE you create the following Directories in your Internal Media (memory);
Intenal Memory --> Showmap --> NAVI
(create this) (create this)

Once NAVI is created, copy the unzipped items from (4.) to directory "NAVI" and that's it !


To Use:
1.) Invoke CJKOS on Handheld
2.) Invoke Showmap
3.) Select Map
4.) Enjoy !!
